HUGE GOLF BAG (35L): MOBILE OFFICE, CARRY-ON BAG, CYCLING, OR OTHER SPORTS. 55 LITER OPTION!
Ironically, I bought this bag for cycling.Being on 70 flights last year, I've been looking for a cycling bag; ironically, a golf bag works perfectly.I was surprised by how big and heavy it was, in a good way!I can tell a bag's quality by what it weighs; in my initial impressions, putting it into my hands is FELT GREAT.The bag was bigger than I thought!I travel with a duffel bag, two pairs of shoes, one helmet, depending on the time of year, and various types of clothing.I will structure this review I see from the front, back, and sides, working my way inward.Look at the bag from the front: a nice mesh pocket perfect for gloves, extra tees, a cap, an iPhone, scorecards, or sunglasses.Returning to the side and top handle places a perfect position out of all my bags. This is the perfect position for it.We have a small section, a wallet, a passport, and extra snacks zippered on the side.As we go from the front, there's access to the bottom of the bag where you can either put two pairs of shoes, a helmet, or potentially that's long and 4 to 5 inches high.As we go to the back, there is a solid amount of padding here; don't worry about anything if you drop it.The overall construction is a 10 out of 10, and I like the fabric. If this gets dirty or wet, especially on a golf course or cycling, have no problem cleaning it up.The strap they include is nice and positioned in a perfect spot where the bags will not tear. When it does, it collapses to 3 inches. As we open the front part, they include extenders on zippers and standard camping gear.I noticed these large mesh pockets with zippers. This is one of my favorite parts about the bag because you can throw away essential things, wallet, keys, and iPhone, and not worry about losing them. You can see them through the mesh!!!! On top, there's a smaller mesh pocket. This would be perfect for cycling gloves or anything that will be a grab-and-go.Room for a couple of tees, which would be awesome pencils or pens, and various extra bolts I carry.I'm highly impressed by this construction because I shoot professional photography; the inserts inside are classic photography inserts they use for camera bags. They include three smaller inserts that are Velcro and also one large insert.I recommend including more inserts, one or two larger ones and a few smaller ones where you can do more sectionals. When you put the sectionals in, you should lay everything you want before you start opening your sectionals.Close the bag several times, shake it, and ensure nothing will get lodged. When you put your sectionals in, there is a large enough area of Velcro where these will not go anywhere. These are some of the most giant Velcro pieces I've seen in a bag in a long time.As we go to the inside of the bag, which is not accessible from the front in case you have clothes that are going to be dirty or extremely wet, it is designed for two pairs of shoes or extra clothes.Including a divider in the center is also nice to remove your shoes. They also include two small pieces of plastic, 7 x 7, to structure the bottom of the bag, which is nice.I've seen designed bags that did not have this, and the bag tends to bend. Here are a couple of recommendations for the bag:I would like to see an insert on the bottom or the top that is the same type of plastic except bigger; it can fit entirely in the bottom, or it can fit entirely into the top soBackpack straps. When you have all your inserts out of the bag, you can put a plastic insert in there to give you some structure for the bottom. If you decide not to use the inserts, that would be a great addition to the bag.I like where the Velcro is positioned on the inside of the bag.My only recommendation would be to split it into 1/4s or 1/3s.You have the Velcro dead in the center in the front and back.I recommend having another Velcro piece about a third of the way to the left into the right.I like how they have the Velcro set up on the sides. This will give you many options for building your bag and how you want it organized.More inserts are included. As far as the inserts. The quality of these is phenomenal. They're extremely hard and an excellent way to give the bag definite structure and flexibility.Washing them, you won't have any problems. This is a recommendation: if you wash this bag, do it with cold, semi-warm water.HANG DRYIf you wash a bag with hot water, the plastics inside the bag can get destroyed and peel off because many bags have coatings.Since it is winter where I live right now, and it's -10 out when I get a chance to get all my cycling gear out of my storage unit, I will put all my cycling gear in here and give examples of how I would structure this bag.On the top of the bag, I'm thrilled with how rigid the bag is for the top part.I would like to see this piece's rigidity as an extra insert into the center part so you can get some rigidity structure to the bag. If you're traveling at an airport, especially with a carry-on piece of luggage, you can just pu...
